A goal of mine this year has been to focus on mark-making. By utilizing the same pose in this mixed media series, I am able to flow the sketch intrinsically and let ideas evolve. Lionel began with Art Graf tailors chalk (see video here) I let the rhythm of the music in the studio guide my line. Varying line weights create interest. Often the line is not complete - the viewer can connect the dots.
